Great things start small — UGG Australia began with surf, sheepskin, and the carefree attitude of Southern California. In 1978, Australian surfer Brian Smith arrived in the US with a need for big waves and an idea for a comfy surf boot. Smith teamed up with a shoe manufacturer in Australia and the UGG Classic Short was born.
Crafted from Grade A merino sheepskin, the boot's cozy feel and laid-back look caught on with west coast youth culture. Popularity exploded and by the mid 1990s, UGG Australia had reached cult status in California.
In 1995, Deckers Outdoor Corporation acquired UGG Australia. They expanded the product line to include more boots, casual shoes, and slippers. Soon after, photos of celebrities wearing the latest UGG boots hit magazine covers. UGG Australia was becoming a symbol of fashion and luxury. Sheepskin boots started popping up on the model runways of Paris and Milan. When UGG Australia was named Footwear News' "Brand of the Year" in 2003, the surfer boots had reached worldwide fame.
Today, the company offers an extensive line of UGG boots, UGG shoes, UGG sandals, and UGG slippers for men, women, and kids. Accessories and all-weather products are also offered by UGG Australia. Worn by young and old, from Hong Kong to New York City, UGG Australia still stands by its humble origins — a cozy, comfy shoe made of premium materials. I was at first skeptical about the Mini Bailey Button because I thought what if I dont like it or it doesnt fit right. I got the Crimson on sale wanted the new lipstick color but decided on the Crimson reds my favorite color The fit is a perfect size 10 with ample toe room....I dont like my toes to be too close to the end of boot where they hit if my feet swell toward the end of the day! The sheepskin makes you feet feel as if you are walking on a cloud.. love, love, love these boots. Im an Uggaholic!!haha

Awsome boots, I got the peacock and the chardonay colors...best of all they were on sale. I love, love, love, the Ugg bailey button and also bought the crimson mini bailey button. Now Im purchasing several pairs a month for all my grandkids for birthdays and Christmas. I fold down the mini for slippers and shoes to wear outside. Also, keep the button open for my own style. These are a nice upgrade from the regular Ugg boots. I have to tell you that Im an Uggaholic now! I never wear shoes only Uggs. Ive wanted a slight gold or soft yellow color and the Chardonay are the perfect soft creamy slight yellow color. Im so in love with Uggs.

I researched these boots for two weeks. At first I thought this website was fake but the uggs are authentic. I bought these shoes for a friend and she adores them Highly recommended.

I love these mocs. They are very comfy, warm and well made. I wear them all the time, inside and out, and would love to get another pair, in another color. They are the first mocs, that I have ever had, where the tie is actually tacked down, so they never come untied.
