Slip into Comfort with UGG Slippers

"Fuzzylicious" footwear for all year round

Have you tried on any of the UGG Australia slippers? To look at some of the styles can make you wonder if this is what happens when a chia pet grows fur. But then you slip your foot into, say, the
UGG Coquette (pictured below), and its like your foot has entered podiatric paradise.

The fluff consumes your foot, and after walking around for a bit you start to wonder if it's socially acceptable to wear bright pink UGG slippers to work. (Probably not.) But it sure does make the time at home a significantly cozier.

Although summer used to mean 3 months of sleeping in, sun bathing and lemonade stands, most of us have learned that work rarely pays homage to these time honored traditions. Even during summer, 6am will probably have a bit of chill in the air. You wake up, hit the alarm, and let your feet cautiously venture beyond the bed where they are met with COLD FLOORS! Wandering about on the cold kitchen tile to get the first jolt of java, you realize your frozen feet have jarringly woken you up long before the first sip gets to your mouth. How nice it would be to be gently awakened, without feeling the harsh effects of walking on frigid ceramic.

So, try a new scenario: you'll still hit the alarm clock, of course, because the blaring noise can't help but awaken ire, but instead of the shock of the cold floor, your feet find their way into the luscious, warm UGG slippers you thoughtfully remembered to toss by your bed. You make your coffee sluggishly, as is meant for an early morning, and remember the utter joy of the first mouthful of java goodness. Of course, when getting dressed for work the UGG slippers are the last thing you take off. It may leave you with a tinge of melancholy to abandon your beautiful UGG foot cocoons, but just remember: your UGG slippers will be waiting for you for when you come home.

One could argue that if you if you are not a morning person it is far too much to ask to put on slippers before coffee. In that case, consider that with UGGs you don't even have to commit yourself to pulling your foot into a full on moccasin slipper, though the Womens Dakota do offer this option. Instead you can easily slide your foot into a backless UGG slipper like the oh-so-fuzzyliscous Cozy II (pictured above, left). If you prefer a slipper with a slimmer silhouette, (even slippers are watching their weight these days,) take a look at the Scuffette and Fluff Scuff. And if you just can't decide whether to go shoe-style or slip-on, the Tasman (pictured right) is for you, with its slight ridge at the heel, it's an UGG slipper that is both a slip-on and a stay-on.

With so many options of UGG Australia fleece goodness, why would you possibly want to limit yourself to wearing them for one season? Expand your horizons, be daring, get dressed before coffee, and wear UGGs in the summer!
