Fit review: true to size

The Scuff Romeo II Chestnut fleece slippers were purchased as a Christmas gift for our son last December, 2010. His previous pair of slippers from a local store cost quite a bit less but being of cheaper construction the soles were coming off after about 2 years. So far the Scuff Romeos have shown no signs of wear on the bottoms or any failures in seams - we have carpeting throughout. There has been only slight matting of the white fleece from use. The stitching and elastic panels on the sides keep the slipper snug and up on his heel and do not flop. According to our son, the fleece lining is nice and warm which is good for our subzero Iowa winters and for stepping out in the snow occasionally. Our son also wears the slippers sometimes in summer evenings because of their comfort. The only problem so far has been that the light chestnut color has darkened from daily use which can probably be expected from suede’s tendency to pick up a dirty look especially where clothing rubs on the top or sides of the slipper a darker brown suede might not show this. The slippers have not been cleaned. Overall, the Scuff Romeo is proving to be a quality slipper that gets high marks in its first year for maintaining comfort and fit, and for smart looks and durability. The higher price we paid was worth it.

Seven years ago I bought these slippers in the chestnut suede with a leather sole. They have worn wonderfully and I still use them. While fitting perfectly when new, they do expand with wear, and the lining does compress, so after the years they feel best when worn with socks. The new slippers I just bought have a different sole that grips better, but I wonder if they will last as long? Happy with them and I anticipate many years of use.

Fit review: choose one

Great slipper. Very comfortable. I added 1/2 size to the measurement suggested and they fit fine. I was disappointed the product was made in China, instead of Australia and I wondered if all the materials in the slipper were made in China.

Nice slipper great quality doesnt keep my feet as warm as I like, but does an adequate job I bought 1 size up...fits great.
