So you want to prolong the life of your boots until you pick next years style? Here are a few tips on how to use the UGG® Sheepskin Water and Stain Repellant.
First, before you step out in your new sheepskin boots, go ahead and arm them with the protectant to avoid any staining.
Gently coat the shoe with the UGG® AUSTRALIA SHEEPSKIN WATER AND STAIN REPELLANT until they are covered, but not dripping.
Give them about 24 hours in a nice dark spot to dry, then brush the nap gently, in one direction with a suede or nubuck brush to help re-fluff the natural material back to its original appearance.
Maybe you want to give your old pair a sprucing up? Try the UGG® AUSTRALIA SHEEPSKIN CLEANER AND CONDITIONER. Applied with equal parts water and a clean sponge, (NEVER DIRECTLY ON THE FOOTWEAR), you can gently scrub the entire area, let them dry for about 24 hours in a cool area and then gently brush and fluff the material in one direction,back to its original appearance.
Like any high quality garment, sheepskin boots are delicate and care should be taken to lengthen the life of your boots. Using protectants and cleaning will help your footwear but please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that it will remove stains or prevent new ones from appearing.
